Just ate my fourth delivery (in 2 yrs) & felt compelled to rate our best Chinese takeaway in the area!! Food was delicious, after a previous review, i opted for the crispy chilli beef (delish) & my base options of mushroom chow mean & large spring roll (100%).. fancied to try something new to my usual & asked the very plesent staff for a recommendation & so had the chicken schilian style.... amazing. .. will definitely have it again. Also delivery prompt & friendly.. definitely my go to Chinese takeaway!

Ordered our first takeaway from Moonlight as it was recommended by friends. Definitely not disappointed, a thumbs up from the whole family. Good homemade curry - checked, tasty sweet and sour chicken - checked, and our taste guide is the salt and pepper squid, nice!! Really friendly service, I think the owner delivered the food, who was polite and very friendly. I have worked most of my teenage years in my mum and dad's Chinese takeaway, so I do know a good Chinese food, and Moonlight is very good. Flavouring is just spot on, neither salty or over flavoured with MSG, everything was well cooked, good portions and tasted very nice. I do have a small suggestion, I would suggest cutting the the corner of the lid for any fried food, e.g the salt and pepper squid, because it was enclosed, it became a little soggy. Don't get me wrong, it was still very nice and hot, but letting the steam escape would maintain the crispiness a bit longer. No point is deducted, because the whole family enjoyed it, we will definitely order again and again.

If you’ve not tried this place do give them a go. The food is tasty and service is friendly, honest and they deliver (safe distance delivery in lock down). Prices are standard but the meal deals are worth checking out. We’ve ordered a few times now and haven’t been disappointed on any dish yet.

One of the best Chinese takeaways I’ve had. Food was amazing and got delivered in a decent amount of time with the food still hot. Ordered for 3 people and there was more than enough food. Will definitely be ordering from here again.

Absolutely exquisite food, I called up and a young man answered with very good manners and was quick and efficient at taking my order. As for the food it was divine, it's the best Chinese I've ever had and I will definitely be going back, it's also very authentic which was nice and service was fast
